On 21 and 22 April 2017, KAZGUU University hosted the Republican Subject Olympiad in International Law among Kazakhstan’s university students.

The Olympiad was open to teams consisting of sophomore and senior students of law departments specialising in international law. Each student team consisted of five members.

To ensure objectivity, the teams were not allowed to report any information that might disclose the cities or universities they represented. The teams were also prohibited to use any attributes of their universities.
