On April 12-13, 2016 at the Library of the First President – Leader of the Nation was held a training workshop “Ideas Changing the World” for students of KAZGUU University. The 3rd year students of the specialty “Jurisprudence” were trained by leading researchers of the Leader of the Nation Library.

The seminar was held within the framework of the social project “Ideas Changing the World”, launched in October last year, aimed at attracting gifted young people and carrying out of educational activities to further promote the ideas of the Nation’s Leader to further strengthen the statehood, unity of the people and the consolidation of all Kazakhstani people on values of patriotic idea Mangilik Yel.

The novelty of the project is in the systematic use in the educational process of the results of scientific and historical interpretation of both political and managerial experience of the Head of State and the identity of the former of Kazakhstani statehood Nursultan Nazarbayev. All regions of Kazakhstan participate in this project.

The workshop consists of cultural and educational activities, which includes lectures and practical classes with the use of effective methods and techniques of training in an interactive mode, in the form of games and group work.

During two days students attended lectures on the Plan of the nation – 100 concrete steps to implement the five institutional reforms.

Practical part of the workshop was held in an innovative format using the latest technology – “learning table”, equipped with the most current text, video, photo documentary information about the stages of becoming an independent republic, contribution of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to its formation, construction of Astana, history of state symbols, and others. As a result of practical classes, the students took part in the discussion area.

As part of the workshop program, students also got acquainted with the work of the Library, visited exposition area dedicated to the First President, exhibition of the highest awards of the Leader of the Nation from foreign countries “Leader recognized in the world” and the exhibition ” Remembrance for the future “, dedicated to the Day of Gratitude, visited the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Museum of the First President and the State Opera and Ballet Theatre “Astana Opera”.

At the end of the event Beisembai Jumabekov, the executive director of the Library, awarded the participants certificates of attendance and gifts – the book “Our President.”

Erbol Karimov, the student of the U-305 of KAZGUU, noted that, as future lawyers they need to contribute to the implementation of 100 steps of the Nation’s Plan and values “Mangilik Yel” in the course of their professional activities and thanked the organizers of the workshop on behalf of the students of our university.
