Upon successful completion of the Bachelor Programme in Law graduates will be able to:

The main objectives of the Bachelor Program concerning academic proficiency are to equip graduates with the following competences:

  • Basic knowledge in all fundamental legal disciplines(substantive and procedural Civil Law, Public Law and Criminal Law), which is typical at the level and is supported by advanced text books with some aspects informed by knowledge at the forefront of the students field of study
  • Ability to apply knowledge and understanding through devising and sustaining arguments
  • Ability to make judgments through gathering and interpreting relevant data as well as comparing positions of various schools and developing convincing arguments for either one
  • Communication of information, ideas, problems and solutions to both specialists and non-specialists audience
  • Ability to continue to undertake further study with a high degree of autonomy
  • The ability to transfer knowledge to new fields of law and the ability to solve unfamiliar legal questions
  • Ability to solve cases in all fundamental legal disciplines(substantive and procedural Civil Law, Public Law and Criminal Law)

Moreover graduates of the Bachelor Program in law will have upon completion of the program the following competences:

  • Ability of judgments including reflection on relevant social or ethical issues
  • Ability to take responsible, independent and joint-developed decisions and the ability to implement them
  • Ability to hold complex legal consultations and to prepare legal documents
  • Basic knowledge in humanitarian, social and economic science
